2008 Christmas Wrap
Maranatha Meeting
Maranatha is a free, open and loving Christian community. Its members come from all Christain denominations and are commited to unity, renewal and healing.
Meetings are usually held on the second Wednesday of each month in different churches and all are welcome.
Contact Catherine on 01625 426868 for more information and/or if you would like Maranatha to meet in your church.
Taize Meetings
Taize meetings are held in the hall of St Albans Church on the last Tuesday evening of the month at 7:30pm.
The second Taize service was held on Sunday evening at Gawsworth Methodist Church at 6.30p.m. in their new community hall. There was an amazing 64 people there - who says that advertising doesn't work!! People attended from Prestbury and Congleton and other areas. For some it was their first experience of worship Taize style.
I feel that there must be people who have been to Taize and who could help to plan these quarterly services, or contribute by playing an instrument - if you are one of them I would love to hear from you. Any queries contact Rev. Sheila Bishop 01625 433239.

New Monthly Prayer Group
We have restructed our monthly prayer group so that it reflects the growing unity amongst the churches.
This is an exciting project where we shall be continuing to support the Big Deal in prayer and spend time praying for projects, the church and the community in our town.
